The beer sets a nebulous lemon yellow it a modest sized head that is bright white in color and creamy in texture, and the resultant lace a thin sheet to obscure the glass. Nose is that of sweet over ripe apple, refreshing and clean to the senses, start quite sweet with a bit of malt, light top. Finish is meek in its acidity, the hops sparing and the aftertaste dry and sweet, a nice refreshing change of pace.

Kriek is a wheat beer matured in oak barrels with real cherries.

Kriek Lambic is obtained by adding real cherries from Schaarbeek to the Lambic resting in oak casks. 100 kg cherries are used for 1 cask of 650 L lambic. After six to nine months, the cherries are entirely dissolved and the Kriek-Lambic is ready for drinking.

This tasty beer must be drunk very cool, the ideal refreshment on a sunny terrace.
