 | Hercule 9°-1/3L Ref: BB20680
Yeast, caramel, acetic acid, apples and later plums and roast in the nose. The 9% tingles the throat. This is a unique beer with a homespun flavor. This bottle has a medium effervescence, is sharp and the malt deosn't stay on the tongue for long. Excellent mouthfeel however and parts with a fresh herbal feel in the apiole range. Rounds out as it warms. No fine particulates but plenty of yeast bodies. Very nice. Beautiful thick black appearance with a darkish head that fades a little too fast. Nice hop bitterness with a wonderfully roasty flavor as well as some nice chocolate undertones. A wonderfully Belgian slant on a stout.
